Training ERC

🧭 Preparing an ERC project is not just about writing down a good idea — it’s about shaping it, defending it… and making it heard.
Last week, several postdoctoral researchers from the Come to Wallonia programme (and beyond) took part in an intensive training on how to write competitive European Research Council (ERC) proposals.
A packed day dedicated to understanding what the panels are looking for, building a strong and strategic application, and preparing for one of Europe’s most demanding selection processes.

C2W is also about human-centred support: hands-on training in open science, intellectual property, research ethics, entrepreneurship, EU funding… and science communication.
This year, learning to pitch one’s research on camera is part of the journey — here are two great examples:

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska Curie grant agreement No 101034383
