Meet our Fellows : Willem Proesmans (Nectapoll)

This week, let’s meet Willem Proesmans for his project “Nitrogen, Community Traits and Pathogens in Pollinator Networks”.
There are two important but not much studied causes of the extinction of pollinators such as bees: nitrogen pollution and the transmission of disease. Two causes that our researcher will be studying in depth during his project “NECTAPOLL”, which you can find out more about just right here!

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska Curie grant agreement No 101034383
